Meet the Team

Alex Ladd

A Design Lead Certified Planning & Essbase architect who has personally worked on more than 50 Planning and Essbase implementations. Alex also has experience with a number of tier-1 EPM software products that give him a unique expertise with both relational and OLAP data structures. Alex is a graduate of Trinity College (Hartford, CT) with a Bachelor's degree in History. Alex has over 15 years experience in financial software systems. He is the Sr. Partner of MindStream Analytics, a Boston based consulting and managed services firm specializing in enterprise performance management and BI analytic solutions to customers that include American Medical Association, Bayer Corporation, Boston Scientific, Chiquita Brands, ING Direct, Glaxo SmithKline, Monster Worldwide, Sara Lee, Time Warner Cable, and Verizon. Prior to founding MindStream, Alex was a Managing Director at Pinnacle Group Worldwide and a Senior Consultant at ISA Consulting. He is currently the OAUG Essbase SIG Domain Lead.

Mark Eklund

Mark is an accomplished sales professional with over twenty years of experience in Corporate Performance Management. He has held positions in sales and solution consulting at prior software and professional services firms including Hyperion, Oracle, and most recently The Hackett Group. With over $125m in CPM consulting services sold, Mark brings extensive network of CPM clients, along with experience in sales and marketing strategy, channel development, and sales execution.

Tommy Smith

Tommy has more than 14 years experience serving clients with a balance of technical and functional expertise in enterprise performance management disciplines, business intelligence and supporting technology, automation and process efficiencies. Prior to joining MindStream, Tommy worked for Huron Consulting, ADI Strategies, and with a Fortune 500 retailer in HR/Payroll applications and subsequently led IT support functions related to EPM solutions (10 years).  He also led IT support for the leading inpatient rehabilitation hospital provider in the US, working directly with all aspects of the business to provide feature rich functionality from EPM applications to include budgeting, forecasting and reporting/analysis. +Through his experience and knowledge working to solve client business problems, Tommy has developed the keen ability to approach opportunities holistically with a focus on leading practice, optimized process and supporting technology that enables flexibility, stability, usability, and ease of support.  Tommy has a Bachelors of  Computer Information Systems from the University of Louisiana Monroe.

Cris is an experienced Finance applications and solutions architect and Enterprise Performance Management professional with over 25 years in the implementation, administrative and post-implementation support of consolidation tools such as Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), OneStream XF and Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS) applications. She is a Business/Enterprise Process Management application design and redesign expert, relied upon for precision problem-solving and data analysis, while utilizing cross-functional team communication skills to smartly align technical requirements with business management goals. Cris' overall experience includes over 30 years of expertise across all stages of financial management, including the implementation space; corporate financial consolidations and reporting; financial system maintenance and GAAP compliance; financial analysis and general ledger maintenance; monthly closings, forecasts and budgets; accounts receivable, accounts payable and cash management; and internal audit.  

Doug Hamelberg

Vice President Client Engagement

Doug has over 20 years of experience serving as a trusted advisor for his clients’ while helping them develop strategies, achieve results and improve performance through enterprise technology and business transformation initiatives. He is skilled at developing and executing strategic initiatives around people, process and technology and has a passion for building relationships and mentoring hi-performing teams, which has resulted in close client relationships and superior quality / client success. Prior to joining MindStream, Doug was responsible for leading the Global Consulting Services organization at OneStream Software. He has also held leadership positions at Slalom Consulting, The Hackett Group, Huron Consulting Group, Ernst & Young and Hyperion Solutions. He started his career working in finance and accounting roles in the retail and healthcare industries. Doug holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Iowa and an M.B.A. in International Business and Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  

Amanda Okon

Financial Controller

Accounting Professional leveraging 10+ years of diverse experience in the accounting industry in public, private and government sectors. Amanda has a comprehensive background in generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), audit coordination, government accounting and corporate finance. She is extremely skilled at uncovering opportunities to improve financial growth, risk management, and internal controls while managing all accounting functions. Amanda holds a BA from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA (Magna Cum Laude) from Webster University. Prior to joining MindStream Analytics, Amanda has held Accounting and Finance roles at Accountingprose, Clyde, Ferraro & Co, Cobham, and Honeywell.

Ryan Rogowski

Director, Financial Planning & Analysis

OneStream Certified Professional - Lead Architect R1

Ryan is an accomplished performance management architect with over 15 implementations utilizing best in class technologies. He has helped his clients transform their current financial processes into efficient and widely accepted budgeting and forecasting methods. Some of his more notable clients include Capital One, Verizon, Carnival Cruise Lines, Logitech, The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, and Acme Brick a Berkshire Hathaway Company. Ryan started his career in consulting in 2016 with Huron Consulting Group where he focused on implementing Oracle products. In 2018 Ryan left Huron to join Mindstream where he started his journey in the OneStream technology. Ryan finds joy in not only building strong and lasting relationships with his clients, but also leading his team members and fostering a great culture at Mindstream. Ryan graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and currently lives with his wife in Roswell Georgia  

Hamilton Beck

Hamilton has over 12 years of experience in the Accounting and Transformation Industry and has worked on more than 25 EPM/CPM projects. He is skilled in data modeling and analytics, and implementing EPM/ERP-based software platforms. He is focused on building and managing superior client relationships and possesses the ability to bridge the technology gap often found in organizations between executive leadership, the accounting/finance departments, and information technology stakeholders.
