EPMA - Enterprise Performance Management Architect
Enterprise Performance Management Architect (EPMA) is an on-premise component that is used for creating and managing Oracle EPM (Hyperion) applications. The visual environment provided by EPMA allows for a simple and intuitive user experience in modeling the financial business process including data, dimensions, and application logic.
EPMA helps users configure common dimensions from a shared library, link these dimensions to different applications, re-use or move artifacts from one application to another, and graphically manage data flows between applications. This provides for faster deployment of applications, simplifies the design process, and enables enhanced analysis of the EPM environment. By using this piece of Hyperion software, administrators can streamline the addition of applications across multiple Hyperion technologies, including Essbase , Planning, and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) .
